Job Description

eMagine Solutions Dubai have been retained by a large family group with diverse holdings across Retail, Industrial, Construction, Real Estate, Oil and Gas and EPC. Due to a large number of key projects they are scaling up their leadership team and a new position has arisen at the C-Suite level. We are looking for a COO to help drive the business forward and work alongside a highly skilled multinational team. Your main remit is to lead the execution, operation of all the projects contracted by the group across different fields and approve projects plans and budgets and present the same to the board within the company. The COO will enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of processes and systems that will improve the overall operations effectiveness of the company.Other duties include

  • Accountable that all projects are completed in accordance with the contractual requirements in terms of time, quality and safety while being within the budgetary cost set for the project by the Commercial Department.
  • Maximizes the commercial returns from the projects executed within the group
  • Ensure the availability of resources and assets required to efficiently execute the projects
  • Carry out resource optimization to ensure the profitability of the Company and the competitiveness of the group.
  • Ensure high level of satisfaction with clients
  • Responsible for driving the company to archive and exceed revenue, profitability, cash flow and business targets and objectives
  • Responsible for projects operations budget
  • Overall responsibility for operational efficiency and productivity on projects
  • Ensure short and long term business and marketing objectives are met
  • Participate in developing the corporation?s plans and programs
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, of new strategies, programs and regulatory action.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of cost control and reporting systems at all projects
  • Ensure the quarterly cost at completion reports are accurate and captures all potential risks at all projects to allow for accurate reporting to the board of Directors/ CEO / VPs
  • Support the analysis of project portfolio performance including budget, productivity and trends to assist the board of directors and chairman, CEO in performing their responsibilities.
  • Provide strategic input and leadership related to potential acquisitions
  • Support succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure
  • Keep abreast of the contractual issues and associated business risks to make sound business decisions
  • Provide leadership to reinform a strong people culture and ethical business practices.
