Lead Retail Development ConsultantAbu Dhabi, UAEOverview:Parsons Client is accountable for planning, developing and delivering retail (Duty Free, Retail, Food and Beverage, Retail Services including hotel and independent lounges) and advertising within the MTB (Mid Field Terminal Building). The?Lead Retail Development Consultant MTB?is a key member of the Commercial Function responsible with their team for facilitating the delivery of the commercial spaces in MTB. This includes design, fit-out including commissioning etc., for opening of the retail and 3rd Party spaces through the retail delivery process for opening day in line with the Retail Unit Opening Strategy by working with business partners and the project team.This role acts as the lead technical interface support for the Category Manager between the concessionaires, their project and design teams and fit-out contractors, and CP&C Retail Delivery Team. The span of relationships will include C-level contacts at business partners through to technical managers at their contractors e.g. architects, designers etc. This is a critical role to support the delivery of MTB, it will require the effective deployment of their team to deliver to a high standard and on time and to mitigate any single point of failure in their structure by ensuring a strong development, collaboration and a succession plan is in place.?Role:To expedite the retail delivery in line with the MTB opening of 200+ unitsTo support the delivery of 250 million AED pa income.To lead our business partner contractor relationships at C-level and below with reference to MTB delivery ? in a hands on technical facilitation role whilst managing senior level relationships and complex scenariosResponsibilities:

• Act as the lead interface between the Concessionaires and the Project Retail Delivery Team, ensuring close out of issues within the agreed SLA?s.
• Ensure, through the Project Retail Delivery Team, technical compliance of the concessionaire detailed design submissions (i.e. Fire, Sustainability, and Electrical)?
• Direct management of the concessionaire?s concept designs.
• Act as the lead retail interface with the MTB ORAT team. Participate in meetings providing regular progress and risk updates.
• Manage the MTB Retail Delivery RISK Schedule on behalf of Commercial.
• Liaise with the Concessionaire and their design teams to ensure designs submissions are complete and compliant, prior to the CP&C Retail Delivery Team undertaking the technical assessment and approval.
• Provide regular progress reports for Senior Managers and the Category Managers within the Retail/Commercial team.
• Assist in Retail units Handover and Closeout Phases with the CP&C Retail Delivery Team, including coordination with the Facilities Management Provider, IT Department and Services Providers.
• Prepare in coordination with Facilities Management Department a Maintenance Program (routine and preventive maintenance) for the Built Assets.
• Prepare Technical information for any RFP?s required for the retail in MTB.
• Liaise with the Senior Management and HR Department concerning the Departmental Staffing (manpower) Plan.
• Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommend necessary actions as per the applied practices.
• Prepare yearly Training and Career Development Program for Subordinates and support Emiratization process and succession planning for future management of the estate.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
