Job Description

Position Overview:˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Remote Job. This key role is responsible for creating and maintaining the˙organizations˙websites, online payment portals and learning management system including design, development and maintenance. This position requires a Sr. PHP developer who has expertise in a variety of web/application development and design software including database development language.Responsibilities:

  • Perform design, configure, customize and implement responsive and effective LMS updates
  • Maintain single tenancy Moodle architecture
  • Integrate with plugins when required, write scripts to automate Moodle routines and processes
  • Planning and implementing API integrations with third parties when required
  • Analyze business processes, and user requirements to establish Moodle. Support Moodle/PHP implementations and resolve any technical issues
  • Developing front end and back end for the˙organizations˙public websites, ensuring that the layout conforms to UX best˙practice
  • Maintain and update an online payment portal
  • Create visual concepts that match the content and the image required by the products ensuing that they comply to the brands global image; ensure that sites are easy to navigate.
  • Build websites using latest technologies that conform to international standards
  • Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested.
  • Contribute to the overall development of Digital Marketing within the organization, especially SEO
  • Ability to interpret the needs and requests of the organization to develop concepts and final products to meet the given requirements
  • Ability to be self-motivated, meet deadlines and provide weekly status reports on achievements
Requirements:-Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent in the field of Computer Engineering and Development.- Proven Experience 7+ years.-Technical Skills:
  • Proven Experience in full stack development. Linux, PHP, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, Apache
  • Proven experience in developing and customizing Moodle platforms including developing custom themes
  • Experience in writing new plug ins and integrating existing to extend Moodle features
  • Experience in XML and JSON data structures and web services
  • Experience in AJAX, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, HTMP, HTML5 and XHTML
  • Fluency in English (written and oral)
General Skills:
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Ability to work in a team and to communicate clearly
  • Superior knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques, a strong online portfolio displaying user-centered˙design, and experience with web database solutions
