Job Description

Knowledge, skills, and qualificationsEducationBachelors Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or related field requiredCIPS qualification or equivalent requiredLanguageFluency in written and spoken English, proficiency in Arabic is an advantageOverall Experience3+ years of experience in a procurement functionSpecific ExperienceExperience in the Professional Services industry in a top tier Big 4 firm preferredExperience in the procurement function within a large organisationPrior people management experienceExperience in managing service provider relationships and agreements related to all areas of procurement, managing and monitoring SLAsExperience within the Middle East is an advantageKnowledge and SkillsStrong knowledge of developing and implementing procurement policies and proceduresAbility to develop procurement framework agreements for major itemsAbility to work well within a team and promote collaborative workingKnowledge of best practices within the procurement spaceAbility to review procurement frameworks from both a technical and commercial senseGood relationship building with external providersStrong negotiation skills and assertiveness in dealing with external vendors and third partiesKnowledge of vendor management and managing SLAsAbility to provide feedback on service quality and recommend improvement areasKnowledge of overseeing cost improvement initiatives across all major categories of spendOrganisation, thoroughness, eye for detail, time management skills and proactivityExcellent customer service orientationUnderstanding of legal terms and contractsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent people management skillsEthical Conduct
