Job Description

SummaryThe Personnel & Performance Management Specialist will handle global personnel aspects that include, but are not limited to, hiring and onboarding candidates, as well as promoting Avertras global culture. In addition, the candidate will manage Avertras internal performance management system. This role includes handling the documentation of Avertras employees, as well as liaising with other internal departments to review employee performance and determine areas of strengths and weaknesses. This position requires someone with a persistent and motivated personality, good verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and strong administrative skills.Main Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee personnel records (e.g. Contracts, PTO...etc).
  • Develop training and onboarding material.
  • Perform research on ways to improve employee skill set and careers by working with org leader to build out career paths per role (eg. Engineering, Marketing, Analyst, etc)
  • Work with Operations Lead to maintain and circulate documents related to Avertra?s policies and procedures that impact the personnel of Avertra.
  • Answer employee questions on HR-related manners.
  • Ensure that effective and available channels of communication between employees and management are being utilized to the fullest.
  • Work with HR Lead and Director of Operations to define key HR KPI?s/metrics to track.
  • Developing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on HR metrics.
  • Research best practices in human performance designs and systems.?
  • Own and drive Avertra?s performance management. Work with organizational leaders to better help define SMART goals for their respective units based on their respective job roles.
  • Ensure that quarterly performance reviews are conducted at a 100% rate
  • Advise departments on better methods to improve departmental results.
  • Seek continuous improvement processes to develop the Performance Appraisal systems.
  • Assessing the needs of employees by conducting organizational psychology surveys for finding out what engages and motivates them.
  • Liaise with the Compensation & Benefits Specialist and other departments to facilitate processes and procedures.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
