Job Description

Integrant Inc, is hiring a Network Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining networks for customer engagements as part of the Managed Services team. In addition, you will be a company-wide, subject matter expert on all things networking.To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure (hardware and software), network design, protocols, and processes. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network systems, particularly as part of complete solutions. Excellent communication skills are required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing full documentation for existing networks and maintaining documentation for all new networks and changes.
  • Recommending design improvements for fault tolerance, resilience, efficiency and performance of the deployed Network.
  • Planning and implementing recommendations and presenting to customer for approval and scheduling.
  • Install and configure computer IP networks such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), connections to the Internet, intranets, and other data communications systems.
  • Install network software infrastructure.
  • Design network solutions according to best practices and industry standards.
  • Establish and maintain configuration management best practices.
  • Monitor network usage, performance, and security.
  • Undertake routine preventative measures and implement, maintain, and monitor network security.
  • Implement automation and testing tools to transform IT infrastructure
  • Linux system administration is a must
  • Troubleshoot and restore systems after network faults.
  • Document network problems and resolutions.
  • Operate support process using proper case management.
  • Develop automation and other tools to improve operations.
