Job Description

?JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY:Plan, organize and lead the Asset Management activities to achieve maximum returns for the unit holders and clients, all within the agreed risk parameters. In so doing, the Unit Head is expected to achieve healthy growth in the revenues of the department. Ability to engage and build new client base.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITES:

  • ?????Draw up an Asset Management strategy and to follow up on its implementation.
  • ?Review and assess new Investment opportunity.
  • ?????Direct and supervise the provision of Asset Management services to clients with International and Local Markets.
  • ?????Undertake an asset management role for discretionary and non-discretionary portfolios for Institutional and High Net Worth clients by investing in accordance with asset management contracts and agreements.
  • ??????Ensure the continuous and regular monitoring of the assets so that any kind of risk may be avoided.
  • ?????Ensure the development of diversified portfolio for customers by considering their risk appetite and undertaking customer risk profiling.
  • ???Continuously monitor the Company?s investments and ensures compliance with set limits in accordance with the already established risk profile/ risk appetite.
  • ??????Ensure establishment of investments and asset performance measurement standards.
  • ??????Ensure establishment of Company?s optimal funding structure/ requirements for proprietary investments.
  • ??????Ensure that risks of the assets and investments are minimized through timely and appropriate diversification/ hedging of the instruments.
  • ?????Ensure that periodic reports are provided to the clients with respect to the performance of investments portfolios.
  • ????Ensure adherence to an appropriate asset management strategy that results in feasible portfolio which offers the optimum or highest expected return for a given risk or the least risk for a given expected return.
  • ??????Oversee research activities with respect to the capital markets, also considering the micro and macroeconomic environment in which the Company operates.
  • ??????Monitor, assess and help the Managers directly under the supervision of the Job Holder
  • Co-ordinate with Treasury and Investment operations with regard to implementation of systems.
