Job Description

Job ObjectiveTo ensure the water treatment programs, processes, and applications are followed and maintained in all district cooling plants and chilled water networks within the area of responsibility.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Water sample collection from all Plants and PDN for third party analysis.
  • Collect, maintain, and review all technical data and water analysis reports for review by the Water Treatment Superintendent (WTS).
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for the site mobilization, chemical handling, and injection in all plants and chilled water networks.
  • Installation and removal of corrosion coupon and analysis in all plants and HEX Stations.
  • Follow and execute the chemical treatment plan in coordination with the Water Treatment Superintendent (WTS).
  • Work and oversee the suppliers and contractor in all site activities related to water treatment services and related activities.
  • Coordinate with the Plant Operators and Supervisors related to chemical dosing requirements and all issues found in the systems.
  • Regular water analysis and preparation of summary report based on the required frequencies and intervals.
  • Monitor and maintain the required quality of water at various sites, and maintain the associated chemical additions based on the operation of the plant and chilled water networks.
  • Oversee the flushing, cleaning, and passivation activities in all plants and chilled water networks.
  • Liaises with Water Treatment providers, suppliers, contractors, and water analysis laboratories.
  • Maintain a register of all Water Treatment related regulatory requirements, keeping abreast of all new or changed laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that all related controls that are required to maintain regulatory compliance are defined, implemented and effective.
