Job Description

Dubai Holding Entertainment˙currently has an exciting career opportunity within our corporate office. We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager- Manpower planning and budgeting who will develop workforce strategic plans that incorporates future requirements and succession planning needs and will conduct workforce gap analyses and assessments to identify gap reduction strategies including an evaluation of operational effectiveness. The incumbent will also monitor and present monthly variance analysis (budget vs actuals) reports to the management highlighting the gaps and recommendations to close the gaps.Key Accountabilities (Includes, but not limited to the following):

  • Develop and ensure successful implementation of workforce strategic plans that incorporates future requirements and succession planning needs and conduct workforce gap analyses and assessments to identify gap reduction strategies including an evaluation of operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor the implementation and execution of approved workforce plans and document deviations for corrective action. Identify areas of improvement within the workforce planning processes and activities and recommend changes for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations on how to structure the organization and deploy the workforce characterizing internal and external barriers to accomplishing strategic workforce goals.
  • Carry out the yearly manpower planning process in collaboration with the different functions based on the approved organization structure.
  • Ensure that manpower hiring, and staff movements are in accordance with approved budget.
  • Monitor, prepare and submit monthly variance analysis (budget vs actuals) report to the management highlighting the gap and recommendations to close the gap.
  • Support in defining sourcing plans and programs to effectively and efficiently meet the business manpower requirements.
  • Keep abreast of trends/updates in manpower planning and recommend accordingly.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with respective business units/stakeholders on variance analysis highlighting concerns if any.
  • Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate with regards to manpower budgeting & tracking process.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies to enhance and improve the manpower budgeting process for the organization.
  • Track and report on the manpower impact to the business and operational changes such as the impact of hiring and attrition moves linking the overall business objectives and consistently reporting these changes to management.
  • Work on end-to-end Workforce Planning processes for implementations, assist with the maintenance and enhancements of various management tools, and provide analytical data support to the leadership team.
