Job Description

Role Objective: Responsible for assessing business expenses and preparing optimized budget plans for the business. The?duties include reviewing financial records and researching the market rate for key business costs. Ensuring the integrity of data in the applied ERP system and its timely entries. Assisting Finance department in the periodical closings and reporting.OPERATIONAL:

  • Develops cost standards for materials and labor in coordination with Finance Department according to the business needs (manufacturing).
  • Collects and analyzes data about company?s operational costs.
  • Analyzes production costs and recommends changes.
  • Develops and analyzes cost standards.
  • Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.
  • Analyzes manufacturing operations, equipment availability and utilization.?
  • Performs month-end cost accounting close in coordination with Finance Department.
  • Ensures cost accounting system and cost ledger are maintained and updated according to business needs.
  • Performs life cycle cost-benefit analysis.
  • Oversees annual physical inventory.
  • Analyzes inventory valuations.?
  • Prepares reports and presents findings to management.
  • Recommends changes to the company?s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit.
  • Advises management on appropriate costing based on financial data.
  • Supports other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure.
  • Ensures proper allocation of job costs and other miscellaneous expenses.
  • Coordinates closely with Business Development, Factory and Estimation.
