JOB PURPOSESupervise and ensure smooth, efficient operation of services in the outlets, area or functions where assigned while maintaining direct supervision of assigned staff and ensuring that the preparation and presentation of food complies with the required standards.?ORGANIZATION CHARTRefer to the Organization Chart Folder for the current year.?JOB CONTEXTThe Airport & Non Airport F&B Outlets and Events Catering Department has the mandate of catering to customers at the F&B Outlets at Dubai International Airport (including Airline Lounges), Non Airport F&B Outlets and service to a significant number of major events in Dubai (Dubai Airshow, ATP, Rugby Tournament, Horse Race, Inter-airport Exhibition, Magic World, Arabian Travel Market & Dubai Summer Surprises etc).The customers catered to are of a wide variety ranging from Airline Passengers, Civil Aviation Officials, Airport Authorities, Airline Representatives, to external customers. Providing them with the best food services efficiently, effectively and economically is a significant corporate commitment.The key challenge of the job is to ensure that the best quality of food and service is provided to all customers.?PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES1. Ensure that all customers are provided with the best quality of food and service through cost effective and efficient management and continuous improvement of food items.2. Ensure that the required stock levels for all outlets are properly maintained according to current levels of consumption and prepare food and store requisitions for the outlets accordingly.3. Ensure that cleaning schedules are met with in compliance with established Hygiene & Safety Standards.4. Ensure that assigned staff is professionally supervised, trained, motivated and counseled to achieve the objectives agreed upon with and provide the necessary guidance whenever required. / F&B 006 - F&B Supervisor / F&B Outlet, Page 2 of 25. Ensure that the standards of the service and the quality and prices of food items are maintained at a satisfactory level.6. Visit all outlets that are under his / her supervision to ensure that the operation is running smoothly as per the company standards with regard to quality of food, service and hygiene.7. Conduct random spot checks in order to ensure that stock levels are correct and sales level tallies with the cash that is in the cash machine.8. Prepare the food and store requisitions for the outlets under his/her control and follow up with concerned departments whenever required.9. Maintain constant touch with assigned staff to delegate work and activities on site. S/he meets with them to monitor the activities and resolve issues.10. Ensure that all staff comply with the documentation requirement of updating work log, other records to reflect smooth operation of work.11. Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000 international standards and execute all responsibilities according to the department work procedures while reflecting EKFC Quality Policy.?
