The Financial Analyst will support all aspects of the annual Plan and Long-Range Plan (LRP) as well support the Latest Best Estimate (LBE), as required. Middle, East Africa has approximately $500 Million in Net Sales and $250 Million in Division Margin with 6 unique affiliates. The Financial Analyst will interact with multiple Finance stakeholders who support the brand teams to provide guidance and support in terms of timelines and deliverables to ensure accurate consolidation and reporting of financials during all cycle?s vs multiple benchmarks for the Middle East & Africa. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Consolidation & Analysis ?Support with affiliate submissions consolidation of LRP/Plan/Upd/LBE and support Regional Finance Manager on preparation of management review packages working closely with affiliates to understand the business and analyze submissions. ?Support with affiliate submissions consolidation of Actuals (D.2.0 & Flash) and together with Regional Finance Manager prepare summary for management review. Prepare necessary analysis to understand the business and submissions. Reach out to affiliates in case of clarification / updates needed. ?Prepare and consolidate Regional S&OP files, which includes financial templates creation, consolidation, and preparation of management review packages, ensuring affiliate timely submissions and commentary accurately reflects business issues and running variance (roll forward) analysis ?Provide relevant variance analysis and develop meaningful schedules and commentary for P&L, headcount and balance sheet where needed to enable stakeholders in understanding and managing the business. Communicate issues vs. benchmark to Manager to agree on resolution or action plan. ?In conjunction with manager and teammates, prepare and consolidate Plan and LRP presentation decks for management review. ?Prepare financial data loads ensuring appropriate tie-out for required submissions to Global and Corporate Planning systems. Reporting & Planning ? MEA HQ ?Monthly LBE: Maintain internal P&L file, prepare analysis of actuals vs submitted LBE for Flash report/Actuals reporting, prepare internal file for new LBE cycle, ensure accuracy of the data, and upload numbers to the system for submission ?Review MEA Regional office General Ledger, follow up on ICBs and other charges, do necessary correction if needed ?Prepare analysis of actuals spend vs submitted LBE per functional Area/Expense group/Account and make sure all incorrect bookings are highlighted to RFM, Controller and PTP Team. ?PLN/LRP/UPD: Maintain internal P&L file, support RFM/FBP during planning cycles providing necessary analysis and upload numbers to the system for Regional/Area submission ?Prepare base for monthly D.2.0 for MEA Regional office ensuring clear, concise, and meaningful commentary. Maintain oversight of budget and spending of Regional Office, track and analyze actuals versus budget for individual functions and specific campaigns Strategic Partnership ?Support MEA affiliates FP&A systems. Provide training on FP&A related topics ?Partner with affiliates in proposing solutions for improvement in processes ?Assistance to RFM/Finance team in implementation of new projects ?Support Regional Finance manager with Allergan Integration in the field of Distribution Agreements.
