Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a Top Tier Construction company in Dubai. Our client is looking for a qualified General Accountant?to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.The role holder is responsible for supporting the area business unit(s) by executing the various activities pertaining to A/P, A/R, fixed assets, general ledger, treasury, payroll, and financial planning.<br /><br />You will be responsible for?<br /><br />- Ensuring completeness of month closing activities strictly within deadlines including but not limited to allocation and posting of expenses & revenue, posting of journal entries including month-end adjustments<br />- Supporting VAT return filing, budgets, and forecasting processes<br />- Managing cash and bank position and reconciliations<br />- Accounts payable/receivable follow-up and processing<br />- Assisting in general and sub-ledger reconciliations<br />- Intercompany and related party reconciliations<br />- Responsible for maintaining and preparing prepayment and accrual schedules, respective JVs, and adjustments<br />- Experience in preparing balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts<br /><br /><br />Requirements- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance<br />- Must be a CPA/CA/ACCA or any equivalent<br />- UAE work experience of at least 5 years in day-to-day accounting is a must<br />- Strong proficiency in MS Excel<br />- Experience in accounting software is an advantage, preferably Oracle Fusion<br /><br /><br />BenefitsAttractuve salary + Benefits<br />
