Essential Job Functions:* Develop, implement and improve HSE management systems, processes and procedures to support business operations in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & OSHAD-SF.* Communicates information on the HSE Management System throughout the organization and promotes HSE awareness through various communication channels i.e. TBT, inductions, training, campaigns, flyers, discussions, emails etc. in consultation with all relevant departments.* Prepare HSE documentation for clients/projects as per the requirements and in* consultation with the BD / Operations team.* Undertake HSE inspections internally and with third parties (contractors) as per the approved inspection program of the company. Follows up on the preventive and / or corrective actions identified during the inspections and monitors the timely closing of the actions in coordination with other departments.* Develops, facilitate and review HSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the operations team.* Record HSE key performance indicators on a monthly basis and issue reports as necessary. Suggest and advise changes to ensure continuous improvement on any additional effective KPIs to be added in the system as part of continual improvement* Develops, implements and encourages the behavioural based safety culture in the organization through safe job observations and top management inspections.* Perform daily walk throughs in Istanbul Group facilities and / or in Istanbul clients premises to monitor and promote a safe workplace.* Able to create new reports and tools for use by employees and managementEducation and Experience level:* Minimum Bachelors degree in HSE or relevant* Should hold NEBOSH International General Certificate as a minimum* At least 5 years of proven industrial and preferably waste sector experience.Supervisory Responsibility:* Responsible for interviewing, selecting and ensuring training and development needs are metfor staff members, laborers, and vendors associated with project work* Provides Annual Performance Evaluation and feedback to team members, utilizes coaching andcounseling techniques, as well as progressive discipline for performance deficiencies.* Scheduling responsibilities for staff, laborers and vendors related to project workWorking Conditions/Physical Demands:* Work is performed in a normal office environment as well as outdoors in all weather conditions* Ability to sit at desk and use computer for extended periods of time* Ability to bend, stretch, reach and kneel throughout the work day .* Support other QHSE staff and contract managers as and when required.* Actively lead and participate in the HSE incident investigations and prepare required reports in consultation with management.* Act as the Istanbul Group representative in all client regulatory QHSE meetings, committees, CoEs and seminars.* Diligently performs any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his/her manager.We request that candidates send their CV as a Microsoft Word document where possible.Quest Search and Selection is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
