One of the key drivers of consumer engagement and loyalty in the industry currently is providing cardholders with merchant funded offers that they can get rewarded for through discounts or cashbacks, also termed as Card Linked Offers (CLO). Visa has an opportunity to answer these needs at scale to redefine cardholder engagement by building a new market wide CLO product that delivers personalized offers, give cardholders cashback for their spends and create stickiness with the Visa brand. Visa has a right to play in this area with its propriety assets and global scale, while capitalizing through direct and indirect means.The Senior Manager, Card Linked Offers will be a key member of CEMEA Hub Consumer Loyalty and Consumer Engagement team to design and implement the programs across CEMEA markets. He/she will lead a cross functional team of Sub Region Solutions, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, and Global Solutions and Loyalty teams to implement CLO across multiple markets in CEMEA and will be responsible for driving initiatives across multiple workstreams in the program.˙Responsibilities:New Product Design and Commercialization

  • Lead all efforts with primary solution vendor and technology teams to design CLO Product according to market needs, including cashback offer content, UX, marketing communications
  • Lead the commercial construct of the CLO Product, vendor negotiations, regional pricing approvals, vendor and client pricing finalization, business case and AOP finalization with all SRs
  • Lead all market pre-assessments with regional business development, BPO and Product teams to identify potential client base, pricing, revenue models and funding models e.g., MDF
  • Develop per market sales and launch plan in conjunction with regional Solutions, BD and Marketing teams
Go to Market & Sales Leadership
  • Lead the sales of CLO to new issuers across CEMEA markets with BD?s and Country Managers
  • Lead the Market wide CLO launch in selected markets including program content, communication methodology (VBNS, campaigns), program opt-out management, contract management, MDF utilization tracking˙
  • Manage the existing pipeline who issuers where the full white label solution or modular components of CLO will be integrated into the banks? existing platform
  • Prioritize all integration efforts with target launch clients across CEMEA and establish implementation timelines as well as the Go to Market approach for each individual issuer
Vendor Management
  • In addition to managing the day-to-day relationships with the chosen 3rd party vendors, lead the sourcing of new cashback offer content in markets where CLO has launched
  • Lead the onboarding of new merchant into CLO, including all commercial, technical, and operational work that is required to have them integrated into the platform
  • Lead performance analysis review of the CLO program reporting to cross functional teams and senior leadership across functions and geographies
  • Lead the post launch customer experience and service management including escalations
P&L Management
  • Develop and manage P&L statements in all markets where CLO has launched
  • Track and report (by market) revenue, direct cost, gross margin, operating expenses, operating income, and net profit
  • Communicate the performance of CLO market P&L?s to the CEMEA Leadership Team as well as country management leads
CLO Team Management
  • Lead a team of SMEs in the CEMEA Hub (Product, Client Services) as well as the Sub-Regions to support the CLO program
  • Lead a team of cross-functional/cross geographical SME?s who will provide expertise in driving the program forward across Marketing, Solutions, BD, Client Services, Finance, and Strategy
Client Integration Management
  • Lead the technology readiness teams (Issuer + Visa Segmentation Platform teams) for integrating the full white label solution with mid market clients as well as select API integrations for Tier 1 issuers
  • Track the progress of individual client integrations and communicate findings to senior stakeholders
New Offer Sourcing
  • Lead all efforts in partnership with the primary solution vendor to identify additional offer aggregators in existing CLO markets + new markets identified for launch
  • Lead all efforts in partnership with the primary solution vendor the commercial negotiations with offer aggregators
Regional CLO Advisory Panel
  • Build and lead an advisory panel of subject matter experts across Solutions, Marketing, BD, and Strategy to ensure critical KPI?s are achieved, including a high # of offer response rates, associated cardholder usage, strong client uptake of CLO
  • Cascade outcome and guidance from the panel to the wider CLO cross functional teams
Marketing Management
  • Lead the marketing budget exercises and creative/media planning for new launch markets
  • Support the creation of new marketing collateral, as well as translating existing collateral into multiple languages and work alongside local agencies to push CLO across multiple channels (ATL + BTL)
New Market Launch Planning
  • Lead the identification of secondary markets to launch all instances of CLO, in partnership with the Solutions leadership team and local Product teams, in partnership with Country Managers and BDs
  • Ensure market readiness, local regulations, and issuer appetites are gauged
New Visa Assets Integration
  • Lead the integration of additional Visa assets and data-models to enrich the cashback offer-targeting engine (e.g., Travel Predict, eCom scoring, VIA)
  • Evaluate time + cost impact of integrating additional Visa assets and manage the timeline with primary solution vendor for new assets integration
Future Functionalities Development
  • Lead all efforts to identify and prioritize future functionalities for CLO+, in partnership with cross functional + cross sub-regional teams as well as the primary solution vendor
  • Collect Sub-Regional requirements on future functionalities and prioritize which ones to include in CLO 2.0
  • Identify leading partners to develop future functionality capabilities in the platform
  • Lead all commercial negotiations with 3rd party vendors to develop new functionalities
  • Lead operational and technical efforts to bring new functionalities to life in the platform
Thought Leadership
  • Create thought leadership material and drive best practice knowledge content for CLO and digital customer experience (e.g., case studies, white papers)
  • Socialize CLO at client forums to showcase capabilities of the platform as well as drive interest from new issuers and merchants
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in payments product management, payment processing, operations or consulting, experience in new product launch and program management is desirable
  • Minimum 8 years of strong experience utilizing analytical and project/program management skills to support and implement solutions
  • Curious self-starter, fast learner and critical thinker able to imagine and absorb new market developments and evolving client needs and translate those into practical Visa solutions
  • Technically astute to work through overall functional specifications, market nuances and client payment ecosystems
  • Go getter delivering results while engaging cross functional teams for the fast-paced delivery
  • Excellent problem solving & communication skills with a focus on client solutioning and ability to drive the thinking to more innovative levels
  • Strategic thinker able to piece together a broader business picture and then drill down into modular components and detailed requirements
  • Strong team player internally and with clients, working independently to coordinate cross functional activities, obtaining critical support from multiple stakeholders
  • Possesses meaningful and credible knowledge of Visa assets (VOP, VisaNet, Segmentation Platform, VMORC)
  • Uses expertise to challenge internal and client?s conventional thinking and is sought after for expertise
  • Due to focus on specific markets, proficiency in English language is a must and proficiency in Arabic is desirable
