Applications are invited for the position of Senior Food & Beverage Manager?(Airport Outlets)

  • Location : Dubai International Airport
?KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Safety
Responsible for the implementation of OHSAS 18001 safetymanagement system in the area of responsibility.Ensure compliance with the company safety system andprocesses and to align to EKFC safety standards and governmentregulations to ensure that a safe and effective environment isprovided to staff, contractors, suppliers and customers.Implement and adhere to emergency procedures and evacuation plans.Implement and maintain pro-active methods of hazardidentification, risk assessment and control of occupational healthand safety hazards such as inspections and observations.Investigate all safety occurrences including incidents, accidentsand near misses. Establish the root cause and implement appropriate corrective actions.Ensure that HACCP and other local regulations are adhered to inorder to ensure the highest good hygiene standardsIndividual objectives and training/ development plansNumber of inspection / Audits andmeetings related to safety awareness/ alignmentAlign SOP to the Hygiene procedures Weekly meeting
  1. Leadership ? Engaged Workforce
Responsible for manpower planning with the area of responsibilityincluding staff recruitment approvals, developing a recruitmentpipeline and staff selection.Development and deployment of an on-job orientation program.Responsible for managing the performance of new employees inaccordance with the Probation policy.Ensure that performance objectives are set for all staff,performance appraisals are conducted, staff development plansand activities are in place and that matters of poor performance are addressed.Responsible for carrying out disciplinary investigations intoalleged misconduct, determining investigation findings and recommending outcomes.Conduct regular training needs analysis and manage training requirements to plan.Conduct weekly cascade communication to ensure that relevantworkplace information is understood at all levels.Conduct regular staff meetings and feedback sessions to ensureall staff concerns are addressed in a professional manner.Update the Job descriptionManpower budget?Monthly reportsCascade communication and employee surveyERP competency and appraisals
  1. Profit Maximisation
Responsible for preparing annual budget proposals for theapproval of the Assistant Vice President.Prepare CAPEX justifications.Responsible for the management of staff costs including overtimeand unplanned absences.Responsible for ensuring appropriate stock control and recordkeeping.Generate feasibility studies in a periodical and timely manner. ? Action plans and report ( P&L ) ? Action plans
  1. Business Development
Actively participate in all aspects of the Concourse Three start upincluding staff on-boarding and training, achievement of servicestandards and site readiness.Responsible for recommending and implementing improvementsin the Food and Beverage Service experience including theservice concept and equipment.Responsible for assisting the Assistant Vice President to pro-actively present improvement initiatives to the client for approval.This may include costs benefit and other analysis.Cost benefit analysisBusiness cases to be submitted with thefinancial implication to see the feasibilityTurnover and absenteeism reportsGenerate feasibility reports on weekly and monthly target
  1. Operational Excellence
Responsible for manpower planning to ensure that servicestandards match passenger volumes and that service standardsare maintained at all times.Responsible for planning the activities of each day of operationand ensure that staff are appropriately supervised at all times.Responsible for the ordering and utilisation of all equipment andproducts required for the delivery of the service concept.Customer surveyQuality auditSOP to be updated and implemented
  1. Customer
Responsible for ensuring that customer service standards are met at all times.Proactively seek customer feedback by interacting with clients on a daily basis.Responsible for analysing customer feedback to identifyimprovement opportunities and making recommendations as tohow such improvements can be implemented.Responsible for addressing customer clients, conducting rootcause analysis and recommending corrective actions.Responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management system.Investigate and close out any quality non-conformances.Customers meetings and SurveysQuality and KPIs report/ response to non- compliance reports?
