Primary Duties and Responsibilities: IMPETUS STRATEGY is adding to our exciting Economic Growth practice with a team leader position. Our Economic Growth work covers portfolios in trade and investment, green growth, market systems development, and skills and employment. As a Teams Leader for our EMEA region, you will lead on winning and delivering projects for our clients across these areas, providing business development leadership, technical project management inputs, and expertise. The ideal candidate will join with the motivation, networks, and ability to identify new or existing portfolios within our sector in which to develop into a market leader.Leverage technical expertise, market knowledge, and networks to identify and pursue new and impactful opportunities in donor markets.Be a lead contributor to the strategic approach to business development by coordinating research on issues, countries, clients, partners, and competitors and market intelligence gathering.Manage the development of new and maintenance of existing client relationships through interactions with clients at a technical level during the business development cycle.Manage the identification, assessment, and pursuit of new business opportunities, contributing to the analysis of our prospects for winning opportunities and growth of your portfolio.Manage the planning of pursuits and bids, coaching and mentoring staff to contribute to their development and proposal success.Provide mentorship and coaching to other staff members on business development.
