Job Description

The main purpose of this position is to act as bridge between different departments and to ensure that books productions is as per schedule. You will need to assist the management team in planning the production for a year. You will also be involved in the publishing houses? daily operations and administrative work whenever it is needed. My client provides excellent benefits, and you must be willing to relocate to Fujairah. Experience in the publishing sector is essential (preferably Book Publishing).?Description:?

  • Work closely with the Publishing House Manager on daily operations
  • Coordinate the work between different departments and ensure approvals are taken sufficiently
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth operations and production
  • Supervise outside printers and other vendors to produce books within the desired timeframe and budget
  • Manage relationships with key vendors to ensure that our books are of a high quality and produced on schedule
  • Work with different departments to maintain and modify the production schedules
  • Prepare reports related to book production whenever needed and asked by management
  • Help in administrative work and act as Executive Secretary
  • Maintain records and document all information related to Authors
  • Work as the main link between the client and their strategic partners
  • Discuss contracts/agreements with strategic partners (Authors, distributors, etc.) and prepare it for signature after legal revision
  • Responsible to manage partnerships and agreements with different publishing houses and cultural institutions
  • Maintain relationship with regional cultural and educational institutions, libraries, and local distributors, etc.
  • Forecast inventory levels to determine when and how many books need to be reprinted
  • Prepare the periodic inventory of the books and send the reports to the Finance Department and Management team
