Big Data (PySpark) and Cloud AWS Engineer will be a member of the BigData teams that designs ,develops and maintains robust automated solutions in partnership with Model Design teams and other stake-holder groups in Risk and Finance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and an understanding of big data systems, cloud and will ensure software delivery with high degree of reliability and optimization.Primary Responsibilities:The candidate must exhibit a good understanding of model implementation, data structures, data manipulation, distributed processing, application development, and automation.The candidate must have a good understanding of consumer financial products, data systems and data environments, and processes that are necessary for the implementation of Risk and Finance models.Coordinate with various teams on production support tickers, analysis root cause and assist in efficient resolution of production processesCandidate will be responsible for supporting day to day operations for models running in production environmentManage Compute resources and clusters effeciently.Develop tooling and automations for On Prem and Cloud/AWS based Big Data WorkloadsParticipate in Architecture/Code reviews.Define and Drive the team to achieve the SRE prioritiesContribute to the group?s knowledge base by finding new and valuable ways to approach problems and projects.Qualifications:Degree in computer science or a numerate subject (e.g. engineering, sciences, or mathematics) or Bachelors/Master degree with 6+ years of experienceHand-on Development experience with Pyspark and/or ScalaSpark and Distributed computing.Development and implementation experience of applications .5+ years overall IT experience3+ experience designing and developing in Python.2+ experience in Apache Spark Development usping PySparkKnowledge of ML concepts and techniques will be an added advantage1+ experience in deploying applications to AWS Big Data Products ( EMR ) will be added advantageKnowledge of Java and Scala will be added advantageJPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world?s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
