Business Function: The Reference Data Technology team is centralized provider of reference data and asset prices to any consumer in the firm. We deliver high quality, timely, and comprehensive data, in a controlled and standardized manner to reduce risk and your total cost of data ownership. We achieve these results by consolidating our processes and people to a single operating model and by rationalizing our technical platform to a core set of masters with a single distribution mechanism.Role: You will be part of a team to design and implement the next generation buildout of a cloud native liquidity risk (LRI) management platform for JPMC. The Liquidity risk technology organization aims to provide comprehensive solution to managing the firms liquidity risk and to meet our regulatory reporting obligations across 50+ markets. The program will include strategic the build out of advanced liquidity calculation engines, incorporate AI and ML into our liquidity risk processes, and bring digital first reporting capabilities. The target platform must processes 40-60 million transactions and positions daily, calculate risk presented by the current actual as well as model-based what-if state of the market, build multidimensional picture of corporate risk profile, and provide ability to analyze it in real time. The target LRI platform will be engineered leveraging Cloud, Big Data, Microservices, Modern UI Technologies, CI/CD Pipelines, Caching, and other next gen technologiesEx #2 ? The Risk Quantitative Development (RQD) Model Implementation team helps modelers implement their models into production. Our activities include perform hands-on coding primarily using Scalaspark and Pyspark to implement complex regulatory or risk models in production. This team is also responsible for validating output of models with modeling team before it can be implemented in production environment. Other functionalities include creating reports and dashboards for data management, model execution and governance.The is a lead role and the candidate will be a hands-on technical member of the Model Implementation team, and will work closely with the Modeling team, Data Management and other technology team members within the firm. Apart from working and supporting the model development activities Team also manages the model development infrastructure and support hundreds of user on these platforms for any software, libraries, packages required for ML model development.The candidate must be a talented programmer with the skills listed below and a pro-active problem solver with someone who can collaborate with. In addition, the candidate must exhibit a thorough understanding of model implementation, data structures, data manipulation, distributed processing, application development, and automation. The candidate must have a solid understanding of consumer financial products, data systems and data environments, and processes that are necessary for the implementation of Risk and Finance models.Essential Skills:
Passion for building scalable, global, complex systems to solve problems with proven ability to deliver high quality software.
Experience with building Cloud native applications using cloud platforms such as Cloud Foundry or AWS or any Kubernetes implementation.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts.
Strong fundamentals in data structures, caching, multithreading, messaging and asynchronous communication
Building enterprise applications that highly available and highly performant.
Strong Hands on Java, J2EE development experience
Proficiency in SQL and Database development.
Desirable Technical Skills:
Good technical breadth in areas J2EE, Spring Boot
Experience with messaging technologies like Kafka, MQ etc.
Exposure to No-SQL databases like MongoDB, Document DB, Cassandra etc.
