Carries out electrical works in electrical workshop, installation, Upgrading and major overhauling of various production machines and facilities in Power Cable Plant.
Prepares and arranges electrical Material and Spare parts for Upgrading & major overhauling as directed by Projects Manager
Arranges locally non available electrical spare parts like heaters, thermocouples sensors etc. which consume long period of time to procure from foreign countries.
Prepares corrective and preventive actions of condition monitoring team input and provide feedback.
Reports required outside electrical maintenance contract work to central projects manager to take decision.
Prepares Scope of work and specifications for each Job quotation. Raise Material Requisitions; coordinate with purchasing department to award the contract to the most qualified contractor for the job.
Supervises Electrical Maintenance Contracts as per SCC agreement with specifically skilled contractors for the concerned special job requirement and Scrutinize day to day job progress as per specifications related to the job and report the progress to the concerned.
Processes ?Equipment Repair Service Order? in accordance with the standard system of SCC with supporting documents
Files all document copies namely ?Equipment Repair Service Order? Completion report Invoice & permission for outgoing materials repairing form in respective file
Ensures that all electrical maintenance activities in Power Cables are carried out safely and in accordance with maintenance policies, procedures, and manufacture?s recommendations.
Responsible for maintains the cleanliness and orderly arrangements of the electrical? workshop, safe guard the delicate and expensive spares used in the workshop and assists in the control of all the documents related to maintenance.
