Job Description

Job Purpose:To manage, facilitate, control, and support the smooth and accurate execution of IT projects according to set processes procedures and controls the provision of deliverables within the budget, requirements of the internal client, and quality standards of the BankKey Responsibilities:

  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the IT PMO function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
  • Develops and upon approval implements IT project plans (e.g. resourcing, scheduling, key deliverables, milestones, cost estimates, etc.) for assigned IT projects in order to ensure effective resource management, adherence to quality standards, and project management tools (SDLC), and compliance with the master project plan
  • Coordinates with all the relevant parties that are involved in the execution of the project, including the Divisional Portfolio Manager to communicate a clear picture of the project?s requests, set targets and timelines, and achieve maximum cooperation and quality of deliverables
  • Monitors the execution process of the tasks assigned to all involved against targets and objectives, to identify compliance or potential discrepancies from plans
  • Tracks and reports progress of projects and initiate the resolution of issues while escalating complex problems for management decision making. Monitors the actual costs against budget and provides analytical information to his/her supervisor
  • Provides advice and guidance to external vendors or internal developers for the accurate and according to targets execution of tasks
  • Evaluates the deliverables submitted, so as to identify compliance with quality standards and set goals, while driving the development and implementation of required corrective actions
  • Maintains close relationships with internal clients and provides all the required information to the Portfolio Managers regarding the project process, so as to assist in effective client relationship management and provide a high level of client satisfaction
  • Identifies and proposes modifications in the project scope, so as to achieve maximum compliance with client requests and utilization of project?s outcome from the business operation
  • Plans and controls that all project deliverables have gone through the User Acceptance and Testing phases, so as to comply with IT project development processes, client requests, and quality standards
  • Prepares presentations to Project Steering Committee regarding the project development process, cost and potential issues identified and actions implemented, to provide a clear picture regarding the execution of the project and facilitate any decision making required
  • Reviews the invoices provided from vendors regarding the execution of tasks proceeds to the assessment of the deliverable so as to authorize the payment or rejection of the invoice
