The MEAL Officer will be responsible for the development of survey tools, overseeing the collection of data from participating households, reporting and accountability mechanisms. The Officer will train all implementing project staff including Livelihood Officer and Mentors who will be the frontline workers who collect data using the surveys designed by the MEAL Officer. The Officer should possess strong knowledge of the local context in Jerash, including awareness of the culture and socioeconomic realities of those that live in the Gaza camp.Responsibilities???????Maintain and manage the database of FORSA participant households???????Ensure data collected is clean, well-organized, easily readable, and usable???????Ensure information regarding participant households?is consolidated in one place and is up-to-date???????Design survey tools using ODK-based platform SurveyCTO???????Conduct verification visits during the participant selection process???????Conduct random field spot checks on how data is being collected and entered???????Ensure proper data protection measures???????Develop monthly and quarterly dashboards and reports for both internal team as well as donor???????Develop visualizations of the data including dashboard using programs like Microsoft Excel???????Develop regular reports of data missing and/or erroneous data???????Translate or support in the translation of surveys???????Update surveys as needed???????Set up and monitor a feedback and response mechanism to ensure complaints and suggestions from participants and partners are documented and addressed in a sensitive manner.
