Read and follow daily instruction and maintain detailed feedback.
Perform the unit survey (field round) at the beginning of the shift to ensure safety & reliability of the unit equipment and report any finding during Shift Team Meeting.?
Attend Shift Team Meeting as per the shift guidelines at the start of each shift to discuss EHSS planned activities and plant impact on personal safety & health.
Prepare work place, equipment and permit to work according to SHEM/OMS requirements. Follow up on maintenance activities and ensures jobs are performed safely and efficiently by considering JSA Requirements in consultation with DCS Operator.
Field operator shall be in communication with DCS to involve in all the field and maintenance activities.
After getting permission from supervisor, Field operator can issue work permits (if qualified & certified) for Maintenance and contractors and routinely check the compliance with work permit requirements and ensure availability and monitoring of the activities in his area. Physically check the job site, before signing any work permit.
Perform the unit survey (field round) to ensure safety & reliability of the unit equipment (Minimum round every 2 hours). Deploy LLF (LOOK, LISTEN, and FEEL) concept?during visual inspection.
Perform reading sheet rounds as per schedule and report any parameter out of range.
No more than 2 consecutive rounds shall be missed without obtaining supervisor approval. (Operation Manager or Shift Manager shall be notified)
Prior to the End of Shift Handover the Field Operator shall carry out?Last Safety Round?to ensure that vital / high risk areas in the facility are operating as desired. The duration of this Safety Round shall be such not to conflict with the End of Shift Reporting and cause a schedule conflict with the Shift Handover.
Write comprehensive shift log/report and perform a proper shift hand over. Concisely records and reports all findings, sample results, maintenance activities, EHSS Critical Defeats. As per Clause No. 5 in this guidelines.
