Job Description

Overview**This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP**

  • Under the general direction of the IMD Director, the Information Management Analyst is responsible for providing ongoing analysis of data by monitoring and maintaining policies, procedures and practices for the Directorate. Ensures that all branches under the IMD function within Vectrus guidelines and Army Regulations (AR).
ResponsibilitiesThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
  • Develop, implement, track and update information management policies, procedures and practices
  • Create and provide support for highly confidential directorate management reports, discussion papers, process guides and other formal documentation in various information management and protection subject areas for management?s review
  • Works in close coordination with Leads, Coordinators, Supervisors, Operations Manager, the IMD Director and appropriate external agencies to create a continuous flow of information regarding ongoing Directorate operational activities.
  • Liaises with staff and management throughout the directorate to ensure the integration of information management and protection best practices into office operations and work flow.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • Considerable experience in the area of information technology and/or information management especially with experience in planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling project activities supplemented with a Bachelor?s Degree.
    • CISSP certification is strongly desired.
    • Must have a valid home country driver license to obtain host country driver license.
    • Must be Secret Clearance eligible and/or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination:
    • To be qualified for this position you must comply with USCENTCOM MOD 16 that requires proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC or host country requirements. As of now, to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you must have received either two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine, two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine, two doses of Moderna Vaccine, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and two weeks must have elapsed after the final dose was administered. This definition may change in accordance with CDC guidelines. Compliance with this government requirement is an essential function of the position and is a condition of employment.
  • Experience:
    • Must possess a minimum of 4 years Information Technology experience with 1 year direct experience enforcing AR25-2, Information Systems Security with an emphasis on Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and/or Security policy development.
    • Hands-on experience with developing relevant security policies and procedures and other relevant Security documentation and related appendices is desirable.
    • Experience developing and executing proper procedures for handling security incidents is required.
    • Experience developing Accreditation documentation for classified and unclassified major applications and general support systems is required.
    • Must possess experience with Federal Information Security Policies, Directives, Guidelines and practices.
    • Relevant hands-on experience with DITSCAP/DIACAP and CERT policy.

    • Professional demeanor
    • Work effectively with all levels of employees, including top, middle and other supervisory levels of management.
    • Exercises discretion and good judgment, possesses high-level organizational, attention to detail and deadlines and planning skills.
    • Ability to communicate orally and in written English, and must possess an advanced level of computer skills in the use of Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Working Conditions:
    • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
    • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies
