- Design new reports for the business along with business analysis to facilitate more informed decision making.??
- Acts as business analyst by engaging with HODs to understand their IT application requirements and advise best course of action to address the requirements?
- Provides 3rd level application support for very complex issues not resolved by 1st and 2nd level support
- Designs, creates and maintains database dictionaries, access and reporting methods, data integrity and validation checks and procedures, statistical algorithms, documentation and overall monitoring procedures.
- Assist in the production of specialized reports against the transaction databases for business and administrative purposes.
- Ensure successful implementation of new systems by supporting the development effort, providing access to databases via programmed routines as required.
- Conducts database security, database tuning and database back-up and recovery activities to ensure the smooth and secure operations of the groups databases and data
- Consults with and advises users of various client/server databases to ensure understanding, engagement and proper usage of the groups databases
