Our Company has one exciting mission:To Entertain The Human Race.PRIMARY PURPOSE:It is the responsibility of the Retail Stock Associate to verify and prepare merchandise and operating supplies for the retail shop while maintaining a strong sense of pride and responsibility for the organization and cleanliness of shopping and storage areas.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Count, inspect, and prepare merchandise upon delivery in order to transport it to retail stores and storage rooms* Stock and replenish merchandise in stores following all department and visual merchandising standards* Prepare store to store transfers and return to vendor items on provided forms* Communicate merchandise and supply inventory needs to Assistant Managers/Managers and Vendors* Assist in preparing for and conducting physical inventory and cycle counts* Assist sales associates as needed with guests needs following the company?s S.H.O.W. guest service standards* Perform other job-related duties as requestedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:* General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, money handling* Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms* Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contactsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:* Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidaysPREFERRED:* Experience in retail and/or stocking* Experience working in a similar resort settingLocation:Las Vegas, Nevada MGM Resorts International develops, builds and operates unique destination resorts designed to provide a total resort experience, including first-class accommodations and dining, world-class entertainment, state-of-the-art meeting and convention facilities, and high-quality retail and gaming experiences.
