Job Description

Purpose: Responsible for maintaining and following of quality strategies and quality systems and support to project in making sure that quality risks are correctly assessed. Identify and manage all project management procedures that require high quality project delivery and execution.Key Responsibilities:

• To oversee and coordinate the planning, implementation, and supervision of the project quality control plan. This includes working with employees as well as with outside agencies or consultants involved in inspections and testing.
• Witnessing and of all site inspections within their disciplines
• Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status
• Coordinate all site inspections with the project stakeholders
• The issuance of nonconformance reports in conjunction with the Site Engineer/ Construction Manager
• Ensure compliance of all the sites health and safety regulations
• Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with good work practices and the customers contract specializations
• Responsible for project material and ensure that the materials delivered to site are matching with the approved materials requested.
• Assist the site subcontractors in the resolution of drawing interpretation
• Coordinate with the site subcontractors to ensure that communications exist and are maintained
• QC site instructions and coordinate their closure, the review of inspection test packages during the course of construction activities.
• Coordinate with the client, QC Inspectors for the resolution of site problems
• Assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager in resolving any discrepancies
• Prepare nonconformance reports to the reporting manager/ Project Manager/ Regional Project Manager, and assist in developing corrective actions with respective project managers
• Liaise with the site construction engineers and provide assistance when requested
• Lead organization in the testing and monitoring of products to ensure factors such as adhesion, hardness and strength are met
• Review all inspection reports of QC Inspectors for compliance. Assist the site engineers in the organization, maintenance and control of the quality system
• Ensure all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken
• Responsible for maintaining records relating to testing data, and applying statistical quality control procedures
• Develop quality control reports, post project reports and detailed progress reporting
• Follow-up internal, external corrective and preventive actions and ensure the effectiveness, well documented in standard format report.
• Review daily Inspection reports and do the necessary action.
• Deal with the Client complaints on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure providing concrete mix to customer same as approved one and have a copy of approval mixes.
• Make sure that all Inspection Request are submitted to the management with sufficient attachment such as test reports, certificates, and previous copy of Inspection Request.
• Field construction quality control oversight on vertical construction projects.
• Conduct field inspection in a professional and ethical manner and integrate well into the project team.
• Ensure qualification of staff and provide necessary training or support.
• Perform any work that may be assigned by the reporting manager
