Its teaching hospital, the Aga Khan University Hospital has been accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission International for achieving the highest international healthcare standards.ÿÿJob Role / Responsibilities:ÿYou will be expected to:?ÿÿ ÿwork as a member of the development team to meet project deadlines?ÿÿ ÿself-learn and apply new tools, to provide good solutions to meet project requirementsÿ?ÿÿ ÿcollaborate with development and design teams to create new features and improve the user experienceÿ?ÿÿ ÿcollaboratively work as part of an agile team on leading-edge technologies.?ÿÿ ÿget a thorough understanding of current processes and provide automation and digitization?ÿÿ ÿcollect, manipulate, pre-process and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources and present insights using different visualization tools?ÿÿ ÿprototype experimental solutions, particularly machine learning models?ÿÿ ÿsupport extraction and management, data wrangling, analysis, and interpretation of complicated, disparate datasets?ÿÿ ÿdevelop dashboards that provide reliable insights and visualization?ÿÿ ÿuse machine learning and artificial intelligence to analyze healthcare data; understand cohorts of patients, based on the combination of health conditions and demographics, and improve outcomesÿEligibility Criteria / Requirements:ÿYou should have:ÿ?ÿÿ ÿa Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering?ÿÿ ÿat least two years of relevant work experience as Software developer?ÿÿ ÿexcellent problem-solving and Analytical skill?ÿÿ ÿstrong communication and presentation skills; Experience presenting insights to technical and non-technical colleagues.?ÿÿ ÿexcellent scripting and programming skills; Proficiency with any of the tools will be plus (Java, Android, R, STATA, Python, Power BI, VS Code)?ÿÿ ÿsound knowledge of developing machine learning models, including familiarity with techniques in clustering, classification, regression, optimization, recommendation, natural language processing, and others?ÿÿ ÿunderstanding of data and analytical frameworks in health care industry?ÿÿ ÿskills in data collection, management, analysis, and interpretation?ÿÿ ÿBI, DWH working knowledge will be an advantage?ÿÿ ÿthe ability to articulate research questions, form hypotheses, review and synthesize existing literature?ÿÿ ÿthe ability to work effectively with people at all levels in the organization?ÿÿ ÿthe ability to cope with multiple tasks with minimum guidance.ÿThis is a close-ended position.ÿÿDisclaimer:ÿThe Aga Khan University is committed to the principles of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment which is free from discrimination and harassment.
