Job Description

Employment Type:ÿThis is a full-time position.Grade:ÿThis is a grade 4 position.Location:ÿThis role is based in Lahore, Pakistan.Flexibility model: HybridÿAbout the Role:This position is responsible for managing P&L and Segments related work for Circle. This involves takingÿ complete responsibility for product portfolio, launching new promotions and products, deriving actionable insights from internal and external data sources, managing geo marketing and network rollout and analytics, and developing & maintaining forecast and business performance.Your Impactful Goals will include:

  • Keep circle management updated on business performance and insights and interacting across regional and head office teams to ensure smooth execution of circle strategy.
  • Responsible for Circle P&L, Geo Marketing & Network rollout strategy, Forecasting & business planning, Product design in collaboration with central team.
  • Executing and evolving (if needed) the product and offer value proposition (includes both Voice & Data & Powerload products).
  • Development and execution of the marketing plans in line with the circle strategy.
  • Ownership and tracking of circle ambitions covering recharge, revenue, active base, churn and usage/engagement (including both Voice & Data).
  • Competition monitoring and analysis using Traffic Trends, Market Research and other internal data.
  • Planning and executing initiatives (both product & pricing based) aimed at enhancing Voice & Data activity levels and revenue.
  • Managing the prepaid subscriber base and churn by adopting timely proactive measures.
  • Formulating and owning the Micro-Segmentation strategy and getting it executed by the CLM team.
  • Coordinating with the regional teams for execution of Powerload, FCA penetration increase in FCA and improving M3.
  • Coordinating with central Segments & Product and Technology teams for getting new products / tariffs made.
  • Responsible for Geo marketing, network rollout plans and making of business cases for approval from investment committee.
Your Typical Day will look like:
  • As a Segments Manager your typical day will involve looking at the recharge, traffic, revenue and subscriber trends as well as external data and taking remedial action if needed.
  • This would involve identifying the problem/opportunity, looking at the possible returns from making this change (through data analysis), formulating a business case and getting it approved, getting the product/tariff implemented by the Product Development team and making & executing the promotional plan.
  • Apart from this, you will be making the network rollout strategy along with technology team and will ensure making the investment business case and approval by ICs and execution of rollout in collaboration with regional teams. Furthermore, all activities relating to customer engagement, revenue enhancement and dormancy revival will be initiated and managed from your team
  • Manage & Support/develop team members working on their respective streams to ensure effective implementation of reporting, analysis and policies in the context of sales & distribution of Telenor product and services.
  • Coordination and interaction with stakeholders including Regional Sales Team, Planning team, Marketing, Internet, Commercial Finance, BPO, Legal, Corporate, OSS, Securityÿ
  • Perform in-depth study and build strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators and make different analysis across different channels.
  • Special project planning and executions & ensure to provide the visibility/support to the region/planning units.
  • Plan to achieve the targets for all Sales KPI at regional level.
  • Initiate projects on declining areas and conduct end to end research on these markets and drive actions to get growth.
  • Conduct market research and derive actionable finding for sales team.
  • Evaluate expected challenges/risks and come up with mitigation strategy
  • Providing performance business insights to stake holders which help them to take better business decisions
  • Identifying strengths and weaknesses of the Products and competition analysis

  • Ideal candidate should have 8 ? 9 year relevant experience in marketing/strategy/new product development functions in technology based companies.
  • Successful candidate should have previous experience in successfully leading teams with Revenue /P&L responsibility.

  • Someone who is strong at developing and managing products and deliverables as expected in any marketing organization.
  • Someone have proven experience as functional architect, project manager or sub-project manager roles
  • Geographical and demographical know how
