Job Description

Responsible for importing Passenger cars business (CBU), Trucks, Buses, Heavy equipment like loaders, spare parts for PC, CV, CE and all kinds of tires, Generators, Agriculture tractors, Vehicles accessories, Automotive diagnostic tools, Factory equipment & machines, Bus chassis and Bus manufacture components for the production line.1. Provides general administrative support on external logisticsoperations.2. Arrange all kinds of Imports shipping docs.3. Apply ACI requirements, do all steps to get ACI #, handling with Nafeza and Cargo platform.4. Create purchase orders for shipments Via oracle5. Manage full shipment documentation process with suppliers as well as freight forwarders.6. Plan and follow up payment schedules and share all bank transfers to foreign suppliers through coordination withtreasury department.7. Liaises with internal staff/departments and transport services suppliers to resolve issues and˙ensure smooth operation for all business unit?s shipments.8. Validation, analysis, and reporting shipment statuses to all concerned departments.9. Negotiate with suppliers the best shipping modes, payment terms, and delivery terms to achieve the company targets.10. Handling the inbound shipments (FCL, LCL, Air, RORO vessels).11. Daily contact with suppliers to arrange and review the Shipment docs. (C/I, P/L, CO, B/L, etc).12. Handling the ACI # for the ocean and Air shipments.13. Follow up with suppliers and treasury to accelerate the L/C procedures.14. Review the Performa invoice with the suppliers for the new orders.15. Submitting shipping instructions to the main suppliers and sub- suppliers & insuring forwarders for pick up our orders and the shipping at the right time.16. Verify and follow shipping documents before the arrival of each shipment.17. Request a marine insurance policy for each shipment.18. Preparation for a complete set of documents to start clearance procedures.19. Ensure the arrival of each shipment to a warehouse in the proper manner at the right time.20. Prepare claims to the suppliers for shortage, wrong and damaged parts based on feedback received from the warehousing department.21. Preparing purchasing reports for shipment status and analysis reports.22. Coordinate all logistics activities with procurement, finance, Sales and other substantive units.23. Verification of all customs clearance documents before delivery to the customs department with the proper release instructions.24. Follow up & tracing the shipments until destination at W/H.
