Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop, maintain, continuously improve, and support both internal and client-facing IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and telecoms systems.You will be providing expert infrastructure oversight, ensuring successful delivery and performance of IT services for our clients and the fulfilment of our obligations and Service Levels Targets. You will be working in a challenging environment, supporting the business in day-to-day operations, as well as facilitating business changes.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Technical Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of current protocols and standards, including ITIL, Service Desk tools, VMware, Microsoft Windows Servers, O365, Networking passive & active components, Business continuity techniques and tools, and Information Security, Backup Solutions.
• Expert in Windows server services (AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS ?etc.)
• Group Policy Management
• Failover Clustering˜
• Fully aware with VMWare
• Very good with FortiGate firewall administration
• Experience with cloud services like Azure, AWS, and Google.˜
• Good experience with Data centre management (servers, SAN storages, SAN switches and core switches)
• Backup methods and DR
• Linux administration
• Extensive working knowledge on installation of ESXI hosts and maintenance
• Design installation, management, and routine upgrades of VMWARE infrastructure and troubleshooting issues
• Proven experience in VM Migration & Disaster Recovery˜
• Experience with Veeam
• Experience on managing Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience managing firewalls and networks in a secure IPSEC, or VPN enabled environment
• Experience with docker containers and Kubernetes is a big plus

Responsibilities˜:

• Managing IT infrastructure staff by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.
• Assuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
• Supervises the day-to-day operations of Infrastructure to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures
• Managing data center and system devices and setup required tools for monitoring servers and network devices.
• Prepare IT infrastructure budgets, forecast, handling enforcing cost-effectiveness
• Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
• Generating performance reports for operating systems.
• Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
• Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
• Develop procedures and policies for solving any incident or problem related to the servers or network
• Administration of Systems infrastructure according to our strategies˜
• Managing Microsoft Infrastructure Platform˜˜
• Managing Virtualization technology
• Administration of backup systems on daily basis
• Managing Endpoint Security Systems to ensure maximum protection.
• Monitoring Servers and systems devices through the monitoring application
• Manage the system license and taking needed actions
• Delivering technical training sessions for the infrastructure team to ensure continuous improvement˜
• Creating the needed reports, documents and manuals as needed
• Implementing security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems
