Coordinate with suppliers to meet AlSafi Danone requirements, negotiate pricing, Minimum Order Quantity, Lead Time and evaluate offers.
Raise and Issue POs to the suppliers with proper approvals as per ALSAFI DANONE guidelines and Authority Matrix.
Support Marketing and R&D in new product development.
Manage material rejections by following NCMR report, issue the Return POs as appropriate and ensure the suppliers issue credit notes.
Strive continuously to resolve operational supply issues by coordinating with the supplier & all the stakeholders.
Provide support in identifying and developing new suppliers to keep competitiveness alive and bring cost savings.
Proactively identify any issues and bottle necks related to the supply, raise flags as and when needed, work towards their solution.
New artworks development with the suppliers
Negotiate prices, contracts, deliveries, Minimum Order Quantity and lead times for the category and recommend the price, supplier, terms of contract etc.
Monitor & Control spend of over SAR 80 million vis-?-vis the Annual Budget
Strive for continuous improvement on Supplier Base, by adding new suppliers
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) ? Strengthen supplier relations by addressing operational issues, QC issues, rejections, payments etc.
Compliance to ALSAFI DANONE and maintaining the records
Manage Rejections & ensure Credit notes are received, and records are maintained.
Identify and highlight any supply risks & recommend measures to mitigate the same.
Support Materials Planning to ensure suppliers deliver complete and on time orders.
Ensure new product development milestones including cost targets are achieved for this category.
Support the Category manager to generate Annual Budget & ensure compliance.
Follow the procedures and controls of Packaging Materials supply activity, to ensure the fulfillment of procedural and legislative requirements fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective services.
