Extendable if required.Job Duties:Experience on Electrical DesigningPossess experience in the preparation of Equipment Specifications, Preparation of SLD & Schematics, Cable schedule, Switchgear Room Layouts, Preparation of Electrical BOQ, MTOs, Technical Bid Analysis, Inspection.Ability for selection of Equipment (Motors / transformers , switchgear etc..), Electrical Layout engineering, Cable engineering, Panel Engineering, Power System Study experience.Identify the control, electrical and instrumentation engineering deliverables, based on the scope agreed and use these as a basis to assist in the provision the project estimates and project execution plan which will form part of the EP submission pack.Responsible for providing the control, electrical and instrumentation engineering support to the project manager to ensure that the project will deliver the required benefits and is fit for purpose.Ensure Quality Assurance/Quality control processes have been incorporated in the design.Review / develop established standard details & specifications.Manage production of standard Electrical details/specificationsStrategic technical decision makingUnderstands applicable codes, standards and project contract documents.Monitors site activities to ensure compliance with contract documents.Interprets or clarifies technical aspectsTechnical responsibility for quality associated with Electrical design deliverablesReview of all Electrical submissions to ensure consistency of approachTo undertake Electrical Building Services design reviewTechnical Report writingEngage in Multi discipline coordinationPrepare technical specifications and mark ups/sketchesPreparation of design calculations using industry standardsResponsible for ensuring that all control, electrical and instrumentation engineering scope change is agreed with the project manager prior to implementation through the life of the project.
