Job Description

Job PurposeTo support and assist managing global Asset Management Business System that are in use across our portfolio of Ports and Terminals and logistics Business Units. Primarily this refers to our Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS - Maximo), but also includes other related platforms in use for Asset Management purposes.

  • Implementation and development activities of Maximo and other AM Business Systems
  • Vendor management
  • Deployment to production of new sites and developments

  • Leverage configuration and use of EAMS for better Asset Management outcomes

This role shall oversee development, training, implementation, and project management of engagement projects, as mentioned above, in line with DP Worlds Strategy and Business Unit requirements. In addition, this shall include, but not be limited to the provision of support to the implementation in terminals of Enterprise Asset Management System (Maximo) equipment to EAMS/TOS integration on board equipment / asset diagnostics and system integration monitoring & telemetry any appropriate integration to other systems and applications leveraging IoT platforms and similar technologies. Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure that the highest levels of safety are applied in all activities, demonstrating visible, felt, safety leadership in all interactions with Business Units and colleagues
  • Manage the deployment, by vendors, of new site implementations, system developments and improvements from Development to Test to Production in the Maximo Cloud environment in coordination with IBM
  • Manage, collaborate with and coordinate with vendors including IBM
  • Establish and monitor systems to overview data quality and the use of AM Business Systems by Business Units, in compliance to global processes and standards
  • Manage user life cycle process for AM Business Systems
  • Ensure the management and governance related to AM Business Systems is in compliance with Group IT Policy and Standards, developing and documenting processes where necessary specifically for AM Business Systems
  • Review and manage master data requests from Business Units to ensure the data is aligned and in compliance with Global Engineering Standards during implementation and after go-live
  • Development and governance of Asset related documents for standardization of global practices
  • Participate in Management of Change activities for AM Business Systems, providing technical advice on requests
  • Contribute to the formulation and development of solutions to deliver Asset Information Requirements as per the Information Strategy
  • Participate in change management of activities to facilitate the smooth transition of Business Units and users to new systems and ways of working
  • Participate in the development and enhancement of training materials for Business Units to increase their Asset Management capability and develop individual competencies
  • Through consistent use and practical application, promote Lean Thinking and Lean Leadership
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from Reliability, R&D, Automation, Energy Management, Operations Optimisation and Systems & Technology, to ensure integrated solutions that deliver long term and short-term Asset Management goals

  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • Project Management (PMP Certification - Desired)
  • Detailed technical knowledge of EAMS (Maximo) and related business processes
  • Understanding of Reliability and Lean methodologies
  • Degree specialization in Information Technology
  • Knowledge of container terminal industry business process, asset reliability, maintenance and repair, systems, finance, integrated technologies, methods, and standards (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent computer literacy including familiarity with SharePoint and Power BI. Use of coding for data analytics and familiarity with SQL and BIRT
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
  • Great interpersonal skills which afford influence and engagement with all levels of the organization
  • Open mind and positive attitude to bridge divergent needs by playing multiple roles
  • Solid change management skills (communication and data-based decision making) and the ability to drive change and win people over
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Willing to travel
