Job Description

To ensure that the assigned Managed Transportation Contract of our Key Account is running accordingly to set schedules, budget targets and Contract Requirements. In this role you will manage on daily basis the client requirements, coordination with drivers, the client as well as internal structures such as Service and Maintenance as well as Fleet Logistics to ensure optimum fleet utilization and job completions. Further to this will manage the monthly fleet reports regarding, but not limited to, Overtime, scheduling of drivers, Annual Leave, fuel expenses. This must be achieved in the most cost-effective and efficient way as continuous improvement is paramount in achieving the financial and operational targets.Operations (Supervision of driver pool and support of MTS Bussing Contract requirements)

  • To be the first escalation point when Customer requires assistance.
  • Ensure there are sufficient resources ? drivers, prepared vehicles, backup resources and support services available for each shift
  • Ensure the MTS Manager is aware of any challenges with staffing or routes requirements.
  • Drivers Roster and Annual Leave schedules
  • Coordinate with Hertz PRO team for any legal requirements that enable day to day operations of the department
Reporting
  • Monthly Fleet Reports and other operations reports
  • Contract performance data supply reports
  • Special Passes management for Vehicles and drivers ? JAFZA, Sharjah, CNIA, Oman transfers etc.
  • Unknown Damage & HSE ? Documented Communication with Hertz Support Services
  • Document Traffic Fines violations by the team and organize coaching session to prevent future reoccurrences
  • Training, Coaching & Disciplinary reports
  • Assist Credit Control team with supporting docs for invoices and outstanding amounts recovery
Contract Cost Control and Efficiency
  • Run unknown damage reports along with Hertz Maintenance team and reduce the amount of money lost due to
  • unknown damages, identifying also better ways to manage operation
  • Provide regular updates to MTS Manager and Senior Management Team, regarding potential cost saving or
  • efficiency improvements with direct impact in Contract profitability
Customer complaints and resolution
  • Record all Customer Complaints and document corrective action
  • Ensure all operational and HSE policies and procedures are strictly adhered by entire assigned team to ensure Customer satisfaction.
  • Deal with all escalated customer complaints as per the agreed process.
Management
  • Carry out bi-monthly personal development( update sessions)
  • Attend, minute and lead regular operational and team meetings
  • Maintain and develop relationship between MTS and its piers within the business
  • Carry out monthly huddle meetings with the driver pool and document outcome
