Site Name: UAE - Dubai Posted Date: Jun 22 2022 Job Purpose: Finance partnering by working closely with commercial team in developing financial plans and updates for Gulf. The role will be responsible for submission of Gulf financial plans, updates, monthly forecasts and all ancillary activities in conjunction with these exercises. In addition, the role will support other financial analysis, as and when required and support management with financial information needed for decision making. Key Responsibilities: Business partnering The role will primarily be responsible for working with the commercial and marketing team to develop ambitious (outgrowing market) yet achievable financial plan and updates for Gulf. Carrying out all ancillary planning activities including and not limited to plan phasing, exchange and cost flips, submission of plan in financial planning system, preparing GEM offline templates and presentations. Working with commercial team on monthly Core commercial cycle. Supporting the team with bottom up forecasting given market?s trend, brand?s EI and other commercial incentives. Evaluating and highlighting risks and opportunities. Ensuring all probable risks are accounted for in books and working with commercial team and management to materialize opportunities. Proposing Gross Margin Components (GMC) including prices and returns and allowance assumptions. In this regard, coordinating and taking input from pricing, regulatory and other reference markets where required to propose the price assumption for Gulf. Proactively work with Pricing and Commercial team to mitigate price exposure. Providing financial insight to management on all spend areas to improve return on investment. Reporting and analysis Providing visibility to the management on performance and spend by providing monthly and adhoc financial reports per requirement. Analysis of monthly actual spend and to market sales vs. budget, YTD /YTG trend analysis. Analyzing actual to-market and in-market sales, its relation and drawing relevant conclusion. Supporting during above the country performance reviews, supply & operational review meetings and local / market monthly performance reviews. Process improvement initiatives on all reporting and system automation to minimize manual work and efficient reporting that support decision making. Accountability Ensuring deliveries of the objectives/monthly tasks as per agreed timelines. Ensure compliance of the local SOPs, where applicable. Timely delivery of projects. Key Behavioral Competencies: The role holder needs to act as business partner and be able to interact with senior leaders of the market as well as reporting area team. Good interpersonal and communication skills, to be able to liaise and negotiate with internal and external parties. Expert in process improvement opportunities, solving complex data problems Previous Rx / FMCG experience is important in medium to complex organization Team player High service orientation to the customer Ability to work under pressure and break complex tasks into smaller manageable ones in short time span Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills: Qualification: CIMA/ACCA/CA having at least 3-5 years? experience. Strong analytical skills, ability to work quickly with large data set to drive meaningful, concrete and definitive analysis Excellent Microsoft Excel, Power Point & presentation skills ERP Experience (SAP will help).
