Execute Purchase Strategy, Policies, Systems, Processes and Metrics in BU˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙
For servicing the production plan of the BU in respect of RM/PM.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙
Establish MOQ?s for RM/PM and the reorder inventory levels based on lead times and consumption based on forecast & historical trend line
Ensure call ups of centrally/BU contracted LPO as per production plan.
Sourcing/selecting and negotiating with suppliers for local purchases and long-term contracts.˙
Optimize the service and quality elements of contracts, identify areas of improvement, engage proactively with suppliers and manufacturing to implement these improvements.
Proactively engage externally with suppliers on NPD for ingredients and recipe know how and internally with R&D, Planning, Marketing & CP
Proactively collect and disseminate as appropriate market intelligence on vendor?s, supplies and competitionú
Support initiatives of CP in vendor development and material specifications.˙
Responsible for import clearance and documentation of incoming RM/PM/Oil.˙˙˙
Supplier relationship management for efficient & effective delivery of material
Resolving quality issues ˙˙
Managing P2P with cycle and ensure timely payment, resolving payment issues, settlement of advance payment on time.˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙
