Whats in it for you:.Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwide..Learning programs through our Academies..Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!.Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21.What you will be doing:MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:.To oversee the butler service, ensuring that all the hotel standards and procedures are fully known and followed..To ensure a proper coverage and supervision of the butler service at all times..To ensure appropriate stock level for the smooth run of the butler operations and to prepare requisitions accordingly..To ensure uncompromising levels of cleanliness and maintenance through each employees responsibility..To use the proper telephone etiquette as per Rixos standards..To assist and to coordinate the daily activity with the Guest Services Manager..To be most of the time in the guest area to have contact with the guests and to socialize, playing a Public Relations role. .To ensure that all guests enjoy their stay and receive the finest personal service..To personally greet and escort the guests rather than pointing out directions..To personally coordinate the guest arrivals (room block, room inspection, amenities, guest preferences) & welcome drinks and to assign rooms for each butler..To personally coordinate the guests departure (express check-out, packing needs) and to ensure that transportation and other travel requirements are professionally handled, to personally give VIP guests farewell, escorting them to the hotel door..To ensure that each room is checked after the guests departure and the Lost & Found procedure is respected..To be fully aware of VIPs in house, to recognize them upon arrival and keep a good trace of them..To ensure that the Senior Management is aware of all VIP arrivals. .To have a perfect knowledge of guests preferences. To ensure that all preferences and requests are well responded with every visit..To ensure daily that the guest history is updated and the likes and dislikes are mentioned..To ensure that the privacy of the guests and the confidentiality of the information is respected..To act as a representative of the Management when dealing with guest complaints or if a member of the butler team is facing difficulties that she/ he cannot solve on her/ his own. .To manage any guest complaint in a professional manner, by owning it, resolving it to the guest satisfaction and recording it..To call the Guest Service Manager, FOM or the HM/GM for advice in serious cases or if an approval is required. .To be fully aware of and to report all guest comments or complaints..To daily review the butlers logbook and to sign it. To personally update the activity reports..To offer assistance at any time in the operations and to monitor, highlight and suggest improvements on any dysfunction..To conduct a daily line up briefing with each shift of the butler team to recapitulate tasks and activity.Your experience and skills include:.Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a teamYour team and working environment:Rixos Saadiyat Island is a unique resort where exclusivity and luxury define every experience, every time.
