With Shory, a new time has begun.About the Role & OpportunityWe are looking for an Creative Designer/ Illustrator to join our Abu Dhabi team who will be responsible to create illustration and animations for the customer experience which includes developing concepts, visuals, designs and briefs through a variety of mediums such as websites, blogs, products and print that help to build the Shory brand.

  • Create high quality artwork for digital and media publications.
  • Formulate concepts and render draft illustrations and from briefs, models, sketched ideas and team ideation.
  • Build concepts from creative technologies.
  • Create designs for user flows, wire frames development, landing pages, microsites.
  • Create illustrations and animation that complement written content.
  • Conduct usability testing to identify any problems with the design.
  • Conduct consumer focus groups to initiate & develop usability plans.
  • Develop prototypes in collaboration with the product team.
  • Research trends in user interface design and interactive methods.
  • Research competitor designs for future design opportunities.
  • Identify gaps in customer experiences and improve design standards.
  • Collaborate with capability stream leads to collect information and always be open to feedback in order to improve the illustrations and animations.
About the Skills, Education & Experience RequiredTo be considered for this role you will need to have at least 4-6 years of experience preferably with an international agency in user experience design, or similar
  • Bachelors Degree in Graphics Design
  • Strong skills in adobe creative suite, computer animation, film and illustrator, photoshop
  • Self-motivated, hardworking professional with a positive attitude and works well under pressure in a corporate setting
  • Influence internal teams to convey ideas and intention using strong communication skills
  • Solid time management skills, ability to manage high work volumes and process multiple projects simultaneously
  • Arabic language and writing skills an asset
