What will I be doingThe WB Abu Dhabi, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking a creative Graphic Designer and Social Media Executive to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual content and managing our social media presence across multiple platforms. Responsible for the formatting and design creation of visual images and copy using computer assisted programs. Translates marketing content into a conceptual visual framework for the hotels offline and digital communications platforms such as website, mobile applications, social media channels, advertising, collateral, etc. using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness. Create stimulating and appealing visual images and copy which is in keeping with the established Hilton brand standards and WB brand guidelines to be inline with IP. Assist the Marketing team in creating a tangible aspect to the services of the hotel through the creation of specific market collateral and artwork. Work in tandem with the Head of Department - Marketing to create a unified and distinct visual style of the hotel. QUALITY

  • Thinking creatively and producing new ideas in creative concepts
  • Interpret master concepts and develop design deliverables in line with it
  • Present finalized design concepts in a professional manner visually in line with brand guidelines
  • Working with a wide range of media, including photography, design, web design
  • Adaptation of existing artwork to ensure the visual look and feel is consistent and brand integrity is upheld
  • Create visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing visual images and copy that is reflective of the hotels style and is in keeping with brand standards and advertising guidelines
  • Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts
  • Create a clear and defined perception in the mind of both internal and external guests of the hotel through the use of different visual and non-visual mediums
  • Designing and creating visual graphics for use across digital and print media, including social media, websites, EDM, e-newsletters, advertisements, and promotional materials.
  • Master artwork adaptation to apply to different deliverables for campaigns in support of Commercial priorities
  • Creation of all collaterals in English and Arabic languages
  • Photography and image capture and sourcing for new creative concepts
  • Update of menus and design adaptations to meet the needs of the business
  • Develop and maintain a marketing artwork archive for all artwork files
  • Set up and maintain a well organised library for all image files
  • Work within agreed standards and guidelines for all brand communications to ensure consistency and level of quality and objectives are achieved
  • Respond to jobs and turn around the tasks in a timely manner ensuring deadlines are met, in line with established work flow metrics
  • Handling all internal photo shooting request
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy for The WB Abu Dhabis Social Media and other relevant platforms
  • Creating engaging social media content that aligns with The WB Abu Dhabis brand guidelines, including graphics, animations, videos, and written copy
  • Managing social media campaigns, including developing social media calendar, scheduling, posting, and community management, to increase engagement and drive traffic to the website
  • Developing and implementing social media advertising campaigns to promote special events, promotions, and new attractions
  • Analyzing social media metrics and generating reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure the coherence of the brands messaging across all platforms
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve The WB Abu Dhabis social media presence
What are we looking for
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and InDesign, as well as social media management platforms, such as Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
  • Interacting With Computers -- Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
  • Communications and Media -- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
  • Design -- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Experience in creating engaging content for social media, including graphics, videos, animations, and written copy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to write compelling and concise copy for social media posts.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of social media metrics and analytics, with the ability to use data to improve social media strategies.
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines on the given timeframe
  • Minimum of three years experience in graphic design.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Proficiency with all prevalent MS Office, Adobe and any kind of design programs.
  • Results-driven accountability for all graphic design efforts, which are tracked and evaluated.
  • Well organized and capable of working quickly and handling many projects and job functions at once.
  • Knowledge of production methods in graphic arts, printing, film, radio and television.
  • Portfolio of quality design samples, projects, campaigns, etc.
  • Creative thinking to produce new ideas
  • Using innovation to redefine a design brief and meet the constraints of cost and time
  • Using a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design
  • Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
  • Keeping abreast of developments in IT, particularly design programs
  • Ability to work under pressure
