Job Description

Summary:We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Inspector Engineer to join our team in Al Ain, UAE for 2 Months Contract. The HSE Inspector Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
  2. Develop and implement safety programs and policies to promote a safe working environment.
  3. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and provide recommendations for preventative measures.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and develop control measures to minimize risks.
  5. Provide training to employees on HSE policies and procedures.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives.
  7. Prepare reports on HSE performance and present findings to management.
  8. Stay up to date with new regulations and industry best practices.
  9. Collaborate with other departments and contractors to ensure HSE requirements are met.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree.
  2. Candidate must be on Sponsored visa/Freelance Visa.
  3. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in HSE inspections, preferably in the construction or oil and gas industry.
  4. Professional certifications in HSE, such as NEBOSH or OSHA, would be an added advantage
  5. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  11. Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
