Job Description

Summary:We are seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious pastries, cakes, and desserts, as well as managing the pastry section of our kitchen. You should have a passion for pastry making and a strong attention to detail to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.Responsibilities:

  1. Create and prepare a wide variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts
  2. Decorate pastries and desserts using various techniques and tools
  3. Ensure all pastries and desserts are prepared and presented according to our standards
  4. Manage the pastry section of the kitchen, including ordering ingredients and maintaining inventory
  5. Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
  6. Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to create new menu items and specials
  7. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
  8. Stay updated on current pastry trends and techniques
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
  2. Formal culinary education and/or pastry certification
  3. Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
  4. Ability to create and execute innovative and visually appealing pastry creations
  5. Excellent time management and organizational skills
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  8. Excellent communication and leadership skills
  9. Ability to work well as part of a team
  10. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
