Job Description

A well-established wellness center in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in providing therapeutic massage services and should be proficient in a variety of massage techniques. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients. The Massage Therapist will play a key role in ensuring the satisfaction and well-being of our clients.Responsibilities:

  1. Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and prenatal massage, based on client needs and preferences.
  2. Evaluate clients medical history and condition to determine the most suitable massage techniques and provide a personalized treatment plan.
  3. Create a calm and soothing environment for clients by setting up the massage room with appropriate lighting, music, and aromatherapy.
  4. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and expectations and address any questions or issues they may have.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the massage room and ensure all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized.
  6. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress, including SOAP notes, to ensure continuity of care.
  7. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of the massage therapy profession and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
  8. Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of massage therapy and continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and chiropractors, to provide comprehensive care for clients.
