Key Responsibilities:ÿúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿThe IP Network Engineer shall perform IP network system installation and configuration.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿThe Engineer shall be capable of installation, maintenance, and performing programming of the IP network and other different types of associated system.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿThe Engineer shall also be capable of troubleshooting problems that occur on the IP network and performing studies to determine problem trends through in depth trend analysis of network system messages.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿHe shall be familiar with IP traffic engineering methods and QoS application and be able to effectively use traffic data to manage the network to the required reliability objective. Qualification:úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿThe IP Network Engineer shall minimum have a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in ectrical/Communications Engineering.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿThe person shall have a minimum of seven (7) years? experience in installation, test, troubleshooting and maintenance of the IP network.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿThe person shall have experience with the products that will be offered into the project to be used.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCCNP R&S certification or Equivalent certification on the offered OEM productúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿL2/3 transport protocols such as MPLS, LDP, RSVP, L3VPN, L2VPN, VPLS, etc.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿL2 ? L7 protocols such as Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, RTP, HTTP/S, FTP, etc. and the ability to analyse traffic flows of these protocols with packet analyser utilitiesúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿVarious L2 switching technologies/protocols to include STP/MSTP/RSTP, VXLAN, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, etc.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿEnterprise Level IT Network Development/Design/Upgrade/MaintenanceúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿExperience with VRFs, ACLs, DMVPN, VoIP, QoS, SNMP, VPC, and VSSúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿCisco IOS/NX-OS configuration and troubleshooting across multiple platforms including routers and switches or Equivalent experience on the offered OEM productúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿExperience with IPSEC and GRE tunnel configuration.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿHands on experience with EGP and IGP routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿKnowledge of network design best practices and the ability to independently troubleshoot complex MPLS issues.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿStrong documentation skills - to be utilized for case management, knowledge capture, defect management and Trainings.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿVery strong problem solving skillsúÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿProven crisis management skills, and the ability to excel under pressure.úÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿKuwaiti Driver license.
