Duties and Responsibilities5.1˙˙˙˙Provide Advice to the director of department/head of division concerning new trend and developments in the field of Hematopathology.5.2˙˙˙˙Fulfills the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to continuing medical education.5.3˙˙˙˙Be available to provide clinical consultation to the laboratory?s patient.5.4˙˙˙˙Be available to assist the laboratory?s patient ensuring that appropriate test are ordered to meet the clinical expectation;5.5˙˙˙˙Ensure that reports of test results include pertinent information required for specific patient interpretation; and5.6˙˙˙˙Ensure that consultation is available and communicated to the laboratory?s clients on matters related to the quality of the test results reported and their interpretation concerning specific patient conditions.5.7˙˙˙˙Provide Advice to the director of department/head of division concerning new trend and developments in the field of Clinical Hematology.5.8˙˙˙˙Review and report all hematological tests such as; CBC, Peripheral smears, Coagulation, body fluids, Hb Electrophoresis and Bone Marrow.5.9˙˙˙˙Acts as Blood Bank and Transfusion Services Director.˙5.10˙˙Review and report all blood Transfusion issues such as5.10.1˙˙˙˙˙˙Approval of therapeutic Phlebotomy.5.10.2˙˙˙˙˙˙Issuing of blood on emergency situation.
