By offering training and health care to local populations and medical assistance to people at highest risk, and with the flexibility to respond rapidly to emergency situations, International Medical Corps rehabilitates devastated health care systems and helps bring them back to self-reliance.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversees overall implementation, technical, operational and otherwiseSupports in the development, organizing and implementation of training opportunities for staffSupports the roll-out of staff supervision and professional development opportunitiesProvides education on, and supports the roll-out and adherence to the IMC Mental Health ProtocolDemonstrate and follow the IASC Guidelines for MHPSS and adheres to international guidelines and best practices in MHPSS program development and implementationConducts regular reviews documentation to ensure technical compliance and adherence to the Mental Health ProtocolSupports and guides staff in the development of biopsychosocial care plans with focus on any immediate safety concernsRepresents IMC at key stakeholder meetingsProvides technical advice and support to staff upon as requestedSupports in the recruitment of key MHPSs staff upon as requestedConducts key administrative tasks, to support in project implementationProvides advice and supervision on key implementation strategies for MHPSSSupport and oversees psychosocial support activities implementation like Youth Empowerment Program and Caregiver skills training, and othersMonitors the on-going care plan development of teams with special attention to safety issuesSupports collaboration and coordination between MHPSS and health and protection actorsSupport teams to establish short-term goals and include steps to address safety and immediate family stabilityEnsure that all care plan activities have time lines and support services.Conduct review for appropriate utilization of services from admission through discharge/termination.Work within a multidisciplinary team, and support the development of regular case conferencing in various sitesProvide input into MHPSS program development, M&E systems, evaluation mechanisms and documentationContribute to the case management file, including assessments, treatment plan and client functioning scale.Provides on-job supervision and capacity building training on topic relevant to MHPSSPerform other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor.Minimum QualificationsBachelor Degree in Psychology or Mental health Nursing.At least 4 years? experience with experience in similar role.NGO experience is an asset.* Experience in staff supervisionCompliance & EthicsPromotes and encourages a culture of compliance and ethics throughout International Medical Corps.
