Duties and Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities The JPO will work on implementation of UNFPA?s partnership strategies as they relate to SRH, GBV, Gender Equality, and Youth Empowerment, and will play a pivotal role by providing sound data and reliable information in matters related to population and development. The Global Knowledge Advisor will be responsible for UNDP?s corporate knowledge collaboration platforms, strengthening and activating a seamless, rapid knowledge sourcing and sharing function and positioning UNDP as world-class knowledge leader. S/he works under the direct supervision of the Head, SDG Integration, and collaboratively with teams across UNDP?s Regional Hubs, Policy Centers and Global Policy Network. S/he manages the development of knowledge and learning methods to ensure optimal knowledge flows and expertise exchange that drives excellence in development solutions. Community Manager ? Gender Equality plays an important role in fostering strong substantive engagement within and across the CoP, supporting purpose-driven spaces to share and exchange ideas and source development solution. The Community Manager ? Gender Equality will work closely with the other 7 Community managers to ensure cross collaboration and integration. S/he works with teams across UNDP?s Regional Hubs, policy centers and Global Policy Network, and relevant partners. S/he manages the development of tools and methods to support countries achieve priorities set out in the Knowledge Management Strategy. Community Manager ? Duties and Responsibilities Working to ensure quality and coherent policy and programme advisory services on ROLSHR issues especially support to rule of law, justice and security systems at national level, in UNDP and the UN system and support to implementation of Goal16+ as part of achieving Agenda 2030 in alignment with the UNDP Strategic Plan, the Deputy advances the credibility and recognition of UNDP?s capabilities in this knowledge domain and associated community of practice. Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Rule of Law, Security and Human Rights Specialist is one of the lead experts in the Rule of Law and Human Rights knowledge domain. Reporting to the Manager of the Regional Hub/RBEC (e.g., day to day basis on matters related to planning and delivery of demand-based gender support to COs and to the regional programme) and the Director of the Gender Team, BPPS (e.g., overall substantive guidance and oversight)), the Regional Advisor on Gender Equality is the lead expert in the thematic area of gender equality and the empowerment of women across RBEC country offices in the Europe and Central Asia region. She/he will work, in close collaboration with specialists of Country Offices and other advisers in the Regional Hub and HQ (BPPS, RBEC) to reduce gender inequalities in the region, in line with the upcoming Gender Equality Strategy 2022-2025. She/he will be responsible for: ? Policy Development. ? Programme Integration and Coordination. ? Partnerships and Resource Mobilization. ? Knowledge Management, Learning and Innovation. She/he will work, in close collaboration with other advisors and specialists of Country Offices, the Regional Hub and HQ (BPPS, RBA) to reduce gender inequalities in the region, in line with the upcoming Gender Equality Strategy 2022-2025.
