Core Responsibilities: ?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Able to identify opportunities (e.g. RFPs) and support in assessing them based on the organizational needs, capacity, and vision.˙?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Contributes to the proposal development process, in coordination and alignment with various departments and team members.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Contributes to designing interventions and programs in collaboration with technical teams, and is responsible for authoring specific components of the proposals, such as: objectives/outcomes/activities, context analysis, implementation approach and plan, executive summaries, organization capacity statements, and past experience. Preferably with experience drafting proposals and concept notes for international donors.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Conducts research and contributes to drafting research reports such as market assessments; especially in the fields of community empowerment, livelihood, child protection, and women and youth empowerment.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Prepares and conducts presentations, such as those highlighting the organization?s capacity and experience, and discussing the proposed project details.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Supports institutional systems that provide improved methods of forecasting upcoming business opportunities and develop Business Opportunity Plans at the country and regional levels.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Ensures that templates and tools for proposal development are developed.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Actively coordinates and participates in planning/status meetings to ensure proper adherence to good proposal management practices.˙
