To maintain the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards, as well as the operating equipment.˙Core Responsibilities:?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Supervises care and cleaning of all floors, walls, baseboards, and equipment in food service areas within the location (sweep, mop, etc.)?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Assist and coordinate the washing of dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and /or pans using a dishwasher or by hand.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Oversee the proper disposal of waste and ensure recycling initiatives are implemented wherever possible to minimize the environmental impact.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment needed for the stewarding department, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Identify and resolve any issues related to cleanliness, equipment malfunction, or stewarding operations to maintain efficient workflows.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Follow department policies, procedures, and service standards.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Maintain a clean and safe work environment.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Develop and implement cleaning and sanitation procedures.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Takes ownership of the planned deep cleaning and preventative maintenance program to maintain high cleanliness standards and address maintenance matters.?˙˙˙˙˙˙˙Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered, and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.
